Bridge Carbon Investment Limited (BCIL) and Total LandCare (TLC) agreed to pilot a joint program to implement nature-based solutions (NbS) for improving rural livelihoods, restoring landscapes, and reducing carbon and other GHG emissions across Chikankata and Kalomo of Southern province of Zambia.
TLC will implement the NbS activity in the selected districts, supporting communities to install selected practices to be advised by BCIL following agreed standard operating procedures (SOPs).
BCIL believes that nature can and should also play an integral part in the climate solution. Natural ecosystems have an enormous capacity to store and capture carbon.
